RABBI ABRAHAM ABRAHAM
Brooklyn, NY (June 2000)
Abraham Novitsky was better known as Rabbi Abraham Abraham, one of the many unique denizens of Coney Island. He did not have a religeous congregation, but claimed the beach as his synagogue. He was known to walk on hot coals, swim in sub-zero temperatures and twist his mustache into weird shapes. He died in 2002 at the age of 77.
