CBGB's

The Bowery
CBGB's OMFUG was probably the most important music venue in the United States from the mid-to-late 1970's. Many of the early bands that played there radically changed the music scene on a worldwide level. It's amazing what can happen from a place that was essentially a dive bar in a Skid Row-like neighborhood.
